Touch Rugby

If you are looking for a new challenge or a gentle way back into the sport, this is for you - Touch Rugby.

Mixed touch is a fitness based, no contact game for ladies and gents of all ages (17+), fitness and abilities. The aim is to provide rugby for all and this is an ideal way to learn, or polish, your understanding of the game in a fun and safe environment. With easy progression available to those wanting to take things further.

The Touch Team run these fitness sessions for all and have found that mixed touch rugby is ideal for those who want to either get fit or keep fit, whilst making new friends on the way. We know many families spend much time watching their young relatives and friends keeping active and many want to join the party.

The sessions also offer valuable training skills for those coaching or looking to coach in the future - many of our East Grinstead coaching team have said how much touch rugby has transformed the way they teach and their understanding of the game. As a community rugby club, we welcome all new faces to join in the fun and improve their fitness away from the gym. So who wants to join the rapidly growing community rugby family!

Touch Rugby training sessions are held every Monday night at East Grinstead RFC, Saint Hill Road from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
