East Grinstead 2nd XV delivered a superb all-round performance on Saturday, securing a convincing 29–5 victory over a big and physical Horsham 3rd XV side.
Despite Horsham’s size and power, EG matched them physically from the outset, setting the tone with dominant tackles and organised defence. The team’s discipline and intensity at the breakdown ensured Horsham were never able to gain sustained momentum.
East Grinstead crossed for five well-worked tries, showcasing excellent teamwork and support play throughout the match. The scorers were Idris Lawal, George Beet, Ralph Harris, Louis Duvall and Ed Arundel, with Rhys Skinner adding two conversions.
It was a display built on collective effort, strong defensive structure, and clinical finishing—an excellent result for East Grinstead 2nd XV that reflects the hard work being put in across the squad.
