GIRLS & WOMENS TOUCH RUGBY
It was another amazing week of Girls Touch Rugby!

It was fantastic to see such a great turnout again this week. The girls are improving every session, growing in confidence, developing their skills, and most importantly having lots of fun along the way.

We're loving seeing new faces join us each week and watching our girls' touch rugby community continue to grow. Thank you to everyone who comes along and makes Friday nights so special!

Don't forget – Girls Touch Rugby is on every Friday throughout the summer at 6pm. Bring a friend, get involved, and come and be part of it!

SHIRTS ON TOUR
This weeks ‘Shirts on Tour’ slot is taken by two senior playing legends sporting the popular EGRFC Budgies. Max is spreading the word in Thailand and Rory is in Mojácar, Spain. Both obviously needing pre-season urgently!!!

Remember, the best pic of a club member wearing their stash in an exotic or unusual location this summer, will win a drink at the bar. Just send your pics to m.marriott@btconnect.com and we will get them in the next Rugby Round Up.

FOOTY WORLD CUP
Although feeling a little jaded after the Ghana game, we are opening the club late on Saturday to watch England v Panama. Kick off is at 10pm, so come and grab a cool drink and cheer the Lions on!

200 CLUB
Our 200 Club provides a vital part of fund raising for playing equipment for the membership with the added bonus of giving our members the chance to win cash prizes each month

CAR BOOT AT THE CLUB
Anyone who has visited Ardingly Car Boot Sale at the showground, knows what a big event this is. We are excited to announce that it will be held at the club on Sunday’s during this summer. The bar will be open, so come down, grab a few bargains, a drink and enjoy the sunshine.

HARLEQUINS RUGBY CAMP
If attending our own Rugby Camp in July wasn’t enough, and you are still keen for more, East Grinstead Rugby Club is excited to host a Harlequins Rugby Camp for the first time on the 14th August 2026!

Open to boys and girls aged 6–14 of all abilities, the camp will focus on key rugby skills, fun games, teamwork and player development, all led by the Harlequins Community Coaching Team.
