What a brilliant evening it was at the senior awards night on Saturday, as our Men and Women celebrated their seasons in style with fun, trophys and dancing!

RIDE FOR RATANA
Just a reminder that the motorbike ‘Ride Out’ in memory of Matt, is back on Saturday 21st June!

It is nearly five years since we tragically lost our head coach Matt. One of the ways we remember him is to be the starting point for a huge annual motorcycle procession - It is an event that I know would make Matt smile.

We are expecting over 100 bikes to be meeting in the car park at the club at 10am, all of the riders from the police or EGRFC, ready to ride to Box Hill at 12 (With full police bike escort!!). Please come and enjoy the machines and wave them off on their memorial ride as we once more remember the great man.

The clubhouse will be open for food and drink, so see you all on the 21st June!!

SERVICES OPEN DAY
Anyone who attended the last East Grinstead Fire Brigade open day at the club will remember how awesome it was! This years extravaganza, on Saturday 9th August, is quickly gathering pace. Alongside the fire engines, we will have police dogs, police cars, RNLI, air ambulance and a paramedic group. The miniature railway will also be back, alongside a bouncy castle and Ice cream van. We will also be offering face painting, hair braiding, tug o war, BBQ and maybe even a bit of touch rugby.

This will be a brilliant afternoon at the club, so please put this in your diary and we will see you at noon to join in the fun. Have you any further ideas/stalls we can include on the day? If so, please contact Julie at: julie.mason@egrfc.com

VOLUNTEERS WEEK
This week is the RFU’s Volunteer Week, which gives us a brilliant opportunity to thank all of you who tirelessly give up your time for our amazing club. Here is a lovely video which sums up our thoughts perfectly: RFU Volunteers Video

We are always in desperate need of more people who can help us in any capacity at all. Whether it is holding a paintbrush or pushing a broom, helping our grounds staff, coaching, safeguarding or helping us find sponsors or helping in the office. If you have a spare hour or two and would like to join our volunteer family please get in contact at: operations@egrfc.com

CLUB CAR BOOT
A quick heads up that we will be holding a couple of car boot sales at the club in July, so get up in the loft to sort out all that stuff you can sell. More details on dates and timings to follow soon!
