SENIOR RUGBY
The build up to the season continued at pace as our 2’s took on Warllingham, from the league above, in a fantastic tussle at HQ! Our boys just running out victors with the scoreboard showing 24 - 21.

Not to be outdone, our Women hosted a very strong Thurrock at Saint Hill. A very useful game for new coach Clayton.

JUNIOR RUGBY
We hope you are all enjoying your summer.
Please note: The start date for the 2024-25 season for junior rugby will be Sunday, September 8th, for all junior age groups.

Training is from 09:30 to 10:30. Please arrive earlier so the coaches can start the sessions on time. For all returning players, we look forward to seeing you again in your new age groups. For our new starters, we look forward to welcoming you to the club.

URGENT POSITIONS AT EGRFC
A lot has changed over the last few months and we are very keen to enlist your help for this coming season!

FIRST TEAM MANAGER
We are so grateful to Luke Stewart for all the years he has looked after our senior mens teams. You have been incredible mate!! Unfortunately, it has become harder and harder to balance job, club and family, so sadly Luke is stepping down.

UNDER 12’s GIRLS COACH

SUNDAY FOOD HELP
We are really hopeful that a group of our parents can help us prepare simple food for our Juniors and Intermediates on a Sunday. If you can help keep our kids fed and happy, please email Bob at: bob.marsh@egrfc.com

FIRE SERVICE DAY AT THE CLUB
What an incredible turnout at the club last Sunday. So great to see not only our rugby family coming along to the event, but also members of the public that haven’t been to the club before.

Our very own Ruby Wallis, legend of the women’s team, was there in full uniform with her work colleagues .

A very big thank you, to not only our amazing staff, but also our incredible volunteers Chris & Thomas Shelford and Steve, Louisa and Thomas Floodgate for running the bbq and keeping everyone well fed. We wouldn’t have been able to hold this event without you all.

200 CLUB
Our 200 Club provides a vital part of raising funds for our club, with the added bonus of giving our members the chance to win cash prizes each month!!
