East Grinstead RFC welcomes Innovation Eye Clinic as new club sponsor for 2021/22.

Innovation Eye Clinic provides the highest level of cataract and glaucoma care in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, led by Mr Gok Ratnarajan, BSc MBBS FRCOphth MD, Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the world-renowned Eye Unit in Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.

Through Innovation and Excellence, Mr Ratnarajan has improved the quality of care and treatment options available to cataract and glaucoma patients. Mr Ratnarajan’s research has won numerous national and international awards and receives referrals nationally for complex cataract and glaucoma management.

Innovation Eye Clinic said: “We are very proud to announce our sponsorship of East Grinstead Rugby. Lead consultant, Gok Ratnarajan, is a huge rugby fan and a keen supporter of grassroots rugby. During his education it soon become clear that a call up as England’s next scrum half was not an option and he settled on becoming an eye surgeon. His research has won numerous national and international awards and receives referrals nationally for complex cataract and glaucoma management”.
