EG 1 Blow Seaford Out of the Water

EGRFC 44 - 7 SEAFORD

Colt, Ben Beard who has cemented himself into the first team over the past couple of months has again picked himself up a Hatrick, scoring all three within the first 35 minutes (Jonny May would be proud!).

For once, the Forwards hard work was rewarded in the shape of tries. The EG pack dominated the scrums, winning all their scrums and turning over the majority of Seafords. Daniel Arnold picked up 2 tries, with John Peaty and Christopher Pentney picking up 1 each. On his return after a few games off, Dave Bridges at 8 also picked up a try.

EG 1s have be known this season to slip off in the second half, however, Richard Dodgson's communication and work ethic kept the defence line strong, snuffing out any of Seaford's offensive efforts.

EG 1 will be away at Plumpton next week - the players would appreciate a large travelling crowd, 2:30 kick off!
