Wayne Mitchell is involved in identifying Irish Qualified talent here in England and coaches the Irish U18's and has previously held a number of roles at Leinster including the U20's Head Coach position, bringing through World Class talents like Ireland International, Gary Ringrose.

Having taken up his role last year, Mitchell is excited by how the Exiles branch is developing and the scope for further growth in the coming years. The Exiles’ mission, in their own words, is “to identify and develop potential Irish professional players living on the Great British mainland.”

Leslie Hunter, Director of Rugby, EGRFC said “Here at East Grinstead Rugby Club we have one of the best facilities in Sussex and as an RFU accredited club, we have a very clear strategy: to be the best community rugby club and offer the best development training to every player. This pre-season coaching forms part of our defence and attack principles of play and we are privileged to have this excellent opportunity for the men's team and look forward to welcoming Wayne to share his experiences and coaching to progress our players and our coaches.”

A wonderful training opportunity and FREE food!
