Friday 23rd June and the u14 had their end of year Awards Evening.
Many thanks to our Hosts at the Tarana Turners Hill who made the night go without issue.

Majority of the team in attendance with only a few who couldn't make it, and many a Parent and Sibling along for the celebration.

This year the selection for awards very difficult indeed.
So much so that the Coaches could not limit the number of awards to just 3 and cheekily expanded it to 5... even then the debate went round and round on who the winners may be.

The 1 award we had no influence over...

Players, Player of the Year.
This year sooo... deservingly went to James Young.
James, as captain, has led his team from the front again this year. Much deserved recognition from his team mates and fully endorsed by his coaches.

Most Improved Back
Ollie Johnson, joined us this year and had never played Rugby before.
Ollie arrived with a raw capability and has grown in all dimension and aspects of the game to become a regular starter in matches... in less than 6 months.

Most Improved Forward
Harvey Snashfold !
The Big man is another of our Leaders on the pitch and again another player very strongly leads from the front. As a person and player his confidence has grown and grown again game after game.

Coaches Back of the Year
Will Roberts.
All round Team player Will has been to ALL Training sessions, Attended ALL games and in every minute spent with his Team mates and coaches has given 100% of his commitment and effort in the progression of his sport --> and always with respect, a smile and great humour.

Coaches Forward of the Year
Ryan Trotter.
Not always the first choice.... but only because we'll never hear the end of it !!
Ryan though well and truly earned the award with an on pitch work ethic that very few professionals could match.

Well done to all the Award Winners, keep up the work rate and team ethic.

All in all though the coaches have once again been very proud to be associated with such a tremendous Team. Continually growing and developing and maintaining the Rugby Core Values on and off the pitch.
