Temperatures will be high this weekend, as will the atmosphere, as East Grinstead Rugby Club head off to Rugby Club Romanais Peageois (RCRP) in East Grinstead's twin town of Bourg de Peage, France.
This will be the 3rd consecutive exchange between the two teams, celebrating an association that stretches back more than 50 years. EGRFC have won the two previous encounters which were close fought affairs and they are expecting RCRP to be fielding their strongest team yet but are still hoping to continue their winning record.
Alex Ingham, Tour Organiser and Team Player, EGRFC said: "This year will be a very special year for the tour as EGRFC and RCRP will be celebrating their respective 90th and 70th anniversaries. After meeting our friendly hosts and settling in, the following day will see EGRFC attempt to retain the trophy, this will be preceded by a tournament involving teams from around the world. The teams will regather on Sunday at Stade Donnadieu for a BBQ before our flight home the next day."
Good luck everyone!
