This Saturday, 11 May 2019, from 10am, EGRFC Under 14’s is hosting a Seven’s Tournament and are welcoming special visitors to the Club, El Salvador RFC from Madrid in Spain, who are flying in on Friday.

Our Spanish friends along with 7 other local Rugby Clubs under 14’s sides they will take part in a fun rugby sevens tournament raising money for the Blue Cube Security Sunshine Sevens who continue to support local children’s charities - Step by Step School for Autism, Special Families East Grinstead and Wooden Spoon.

Rob Ward, Under 14’s Coach, EGRFC said “This is an exciting opportunity for us to host an international team on tour and integrate this will a sevens competition to do our part towards the wonderful charity.”

The EGRFC Under 14’s squad, who will be sporting a special rugby playing shirt designed especially for this tournament, will be battling it out against El Salvador, Haywards Heath, Crowborough, Pulborough, Heathfield, Burgess Hill, Edenbridge and Beccehamian.

25 players from El Salvador RFC will be staying with EGRFC families who have kindly agreed to host our visitors.

Food will be available and bar open as usual.
