Summer has gone ....

Coaching Update
On Sunday, Stephen Rhodes announced he and his family will be shortly moving to Scotland, as such he will be stepping down as Head Coach.

Stephen has coached this group since U7's. From a Dad watching on the sidelines, to helping out with bulldog and then stepping into Coach at short notice, he has developed this Group from their first tentative passes in Tag Rugby, on to their first tackles and scrums. Under his guidance we have watched this great bunch of boys, grow and develop their rugby skills and grow as individuals. He has installed in the squad, the very best in rugby values, which will stay with them as the progress on their rugby journey.

The Black Isle's gain is our sad loss, on behalf of the Coaches, Squad and Parents, we wish Stephen and his family every success and happiness on their new journey.

New Head Coach
Richard Darch will take on the role as Head Coach. Darchy has coached this group since the Under 8's, is also involved in coaching the Girls Team and has an illustrious past, playing in the Seniors/Vets ( so he says anyway !! ). Along with Andy, Ellen, Rob and Paul we look to maintain the strong foundations that have been built to date.

Training
As the summer is well behind us now, it will get colder and wetter, so a reminder to make sure your child has plenty of layers. Please note, the changing rooms remain closed due to Covid restrictions.

The coaches are aware that the current restrictions are challenging for the squad and at times they are getting frustrated. We are looking to mix up the training sessions and groups as much as the rules allow us.
