LADIES GET INSPIRED & FIND YOUR INNER WARRIOR!

The next wave of England Rugby’s Inner Warrior campaign takes place this month and East Grinstead Rugby Football Club (EGRFC) are delighted to announce a Warrior Camp on Saturday 26 January 2019 from 12.00pm until 2.00pm, which will be held at EGRFC, Saint Hill Road, East Grinstead.

Aimed at ladies of all abilities, fitness levels and experience, aged 18 and over, the Inner Warrior campaign encourages more women to play contact rugby, kick starting their fitness routine for the new year and challenging themselves to take up a new sport.

The free Warrior Camp is a fun-packed, commitment-free way for ladies to get outside, get muddy and experience the dynamic, exhilarating sport of rugby for the first time, introducing the basics of rugby – passing, kicking and tackling, coupled with enjoyable fitness routines – helping you step out of your comfort zone and unearth your Inner Warrior.

Susannah Funnell, Chair and Manager of EGRFC Ladies Team said: ‘We are so excited to be able to offer this camp to the community. We love rugby and want to invite you along to fall in love with it too. Not only will you learn new skills, it is a chance to make friends, reunite with old ones and have a lot of fun whilst doing so. You will not be disappointed!’

‘Rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports for women in England, so let’s get active outdoors this spring. All you need to bring to take part is a comfy pair of trainers and your usual work-out clothes’ Susannah added.

Contact Susannah Funnell: ladies@egrfc.com for your FREE place on the camp (26 January 2019), East Grinstead Rugby Football Club, The Gearon Pavilion, Saint Hill Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex RH19 4JU.
