Worthing RFC have a strong tradition in the abbreviated version of the game. The highlight in the clubs 7s history was the appearance at the Middlesex 7s Finals at Twickenham back in 1986. Since the late 90s the focus of the club has been to try and achieve National League status so the 7s have taken a back seat for a while. As this is the 50th anniversary Sunshine 7s WRFC have tried to put out the strongest squad possible.

Particular players to look out for are youngsters Will Harris (London Division U20s) and Matt Farnes who scored 9 tries versus Guildford in the London One league match this season!!

Hopefully Worthing's own 7-a-side Tournament (29th July) will continue to grow so that we too can celebrate 50 years of rugby.
