Colours: Red and Black

OARFC was formed in 1985 by former pupils of Ampleforth College. At first the side was strictly a social side playing its rugby on Sunday mornings with a handful of people turning up. The decision was finally taken to join the organised leagues in 2000 and in the first 5 years managed to go from Surrey 3 to London SW4.

In terms of Sevens pedigree there is no real form to go on, the last outing for the side was the Barcelona Sevens in 03 where a much different team decided not to defend their title in the monsoon-esque weather,

As with the club, the team today is not exclusively old boys. One player to watch today is Simon Harle.
