Into the Tin section (last 4 teams)

1. EG Vrs Hove B = 1 - 0 (Try Tommy Pool)
2. Final EG Vrs Crawley 1 - 0 (Try Matthew Dack extra time)

With a loss of the first two games by a better teams, EG U11 had time to reflect on thier weaknesses in defence by displaying a good hard fought nailbiting battle with Haywards Heath to a 0 - 0 which lead EG into the Tin Pool playoffs

The first games of the Tin Pool saw Hove B put up a brave battle against our boys with a slicing run from Tommy to score the only try of the game to seal the win. Good display up front saw Ollie Collett leading the pack forward. The final was a well deseved win for the U11's which showed passion, teamwork and commitment to the end. The forwards achieved the past months' objective of rucking with, vigor producing great ball for Jason Dack to feed the eager backs. With good runs by Tommy and new-commers Mark Hartigan and Hugo Altendorf, which saw a great try by Matthew Dack to seal the win in extra time, for the team to receive a medal each and a trophy. After the hard work put in from all the boys over the last couple of months it was great to see that it resulted in a well deserved win for the team.

Well done boys and a special thanks to the mums and dads and supporters and coaching staff.
