Following last years visit the side went on to be runners up in the Kent "Spitfire" sevens and losing semi finalists in the East Kent tournament. The Sunshine sevens is the first of the season and we are looking to improve on our losing plate Q final last year.

The side is once again based around our very talented crop of young players who have played an active part in the 1st and 2nd XV this season. With many averaging 18 years we are looking to blend youth with pace and fitness. Some players to look out for this afternoon are Piers Frances and Nik Van Mol from our U18's fresh from winning their seventh consecutive county championship. Mark "Prince Harry" Ryan, Mark having made the senior county side last season. Scot Mitchell and Hugh Ridgen, back from lambing, make their second visit along with a number of other local celebrities all of who are looking forward to a competitive and enjoyable day of sevens rugby.
