Interserve Alumni 7

Colours: Gold Silver Azure

The Interserve Alumni 7 was founded in March 2003 by Tony Rolt (former Director of Rugby, Nottingham RFC and currently 1st XV Coach, Derby RFC) and is ostensibly a fundraising vehicle for rugby players with spinal injuries. The Interserve Alumni's most recent success has been winning the bowl at Scarborough in 2005 and runners-up at Stoneygate in 2006. This has allowed them to raise over £5000 for both Tom Woolrich and Matt Hampson who are both well publicised rugby spinal injuries. Through the generous backing of Mr David Large of Interserve Project Services Ltd the Interserve Alumni are able to attract some of the top players around the country .

Today's Interserve Alumni squad is based primarily of England Students International's with six of today's squad representing their country at student level within the past two years. The squad also consists of three current double blues in Tom Tombleson, James Jones (both Oxford ) and Rhys Evans ( Cambridge ). The Interserve Alumni man to watch is Warren Coles a current St George Samurai player.

Today's Interserve Alumni squad will be going around rattling buckets on behalf of Matt and Tom so please give generously!
